Why would any corporation choose to invest in Alberta with so much instability created by “fani” , oops “dani” and the ucp , now and in the future , with this present unstable ucp government?
I just want to remind people who are being critical of the news media not stepping up with fact checking on the conservatives. We have Stephen effing Harper to thank for outsourcing our media to foreign interests. MOST of the major papers and other news outlets are American owned by conservative interests. Hence the lack of interest by a conservative paper to actually fact check Danielle Smith. The trend of conservatives everywhere these days is put on a blindfold and spout off whatever nonsense they are told. And don't ask pesky questions. PostMedia is not a legitimate journalism news source in my opinion. This is what makes me so grateful for Substack.
I try to use CBC as much as possible, CTV, Global, City News. NP was still decent before the pandemic, I think. I find many of their older pieces useful when I’m talking about a decade ago.

The way other commentators are treating the question as if it were meaningful has had me reading the question again and again, looking for some language subtlety that I missed. Or wondering if its use was some obscure Anglo Saxon word!
