Narratives from the United Conservative Party on education have been correct, completely false, divisive, straight forward, and confusing. We need to talk about how we talk about education.

Really insightful piece, and nice reminder that education is about more than slotting teenagers into predetermined job roles - it’s about expanding their opportunities. I’m many years out of high school and post-secondary and I still haven’t figured out what I want to be when I grow up.
Many thanks, Dave. I actually shuddered to think of the possibility they could have tried to push me into trades — I hardly wanted to be there as it was and that would have probably forced me out completely.
