I simply can't believe the UCP has actually set aside a day for Fossil fuel recognitions every Feb. 13 annually where there will undoubtedly be speeches singing the praise for the oil industry and what it's done for Alberta. Be assured there will be no mention of carbon emissions or leaking tailings ponds, uncapped derelict wells and undone sour gas clean-up.
The circus has come to town - some time ago and just keeps the clowns performing. Some of these acts are classic 'orange' and others are a roaring lion - attention getting of course. What's the price of the ticket? Hard to say ... costs just keep escalating - you know ... Ottawa.
