Well we know for a fact Mrs Moretta blames the Edmonton group for factually interpreting her mandate (that law school education pays off again, whoops forgot her degree was economics not law).
And that anyone but her is responsible for the economy here( see that economics degree at work).
The next time she steps up to the plate, tells the truth and accepts responsibility will be the first time.
My offer still stands. I’ll personally pay for her moving expenses south of the border to stop this shit show.
She’s yet to do one thing that benefits all Albertans so beholding as she is to her base. I’d like to suggest a resignation. I think I can speak for about 4.95 million Albertans here that would be the one thing she could do to please us. Me at least!
The point of “people being in Alberta for a good time, not a long time” explains a lot. It also offers the insight for new resolutions that could be successful.
But yep, this whole trumped-up idea of Alberta somehow being hard done by because of equalization is basically Smith jockeying for a bigger share of federal taxes from Ottawa so she doesn’t have to raise taxes or implement a sales tax like everyone else does.
It’s pretty depressing that the MSM treats it as a legitimate grievance
I have a hard time believing the Edmonton Public School Board is filled with book-banning bible thumpers. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. This was all staged designed to paint Alberta in a bad light and embarrass Danielle Smith. There’s a power struggle going on who will control to decide on which books get into school libraries.
I forgot to leave it with funny things I saw on the socials. The UCP pushed me to publish with their pause on the book ban and I didn’t want more work before I posted 😏
I’m willing to entertain the idea that an early election tells us the UCP is running scared — but this time they can’t promise Danielle smith won’t be the leader 😏
